About Edie Brous

Edie Brous, R.N., Esq. is an attorney and registered nurse who represents, advises, educates and advocates for healthcare professionals.

Since 2005, Edie has been in solo practice, specializing in the areas of nursing licensure, nursing malpractice, education and nursing legislation advocacy. Prior to 2005, Edie practiced in the New York City law firms of Garson, Gerspach, DeCorato & Cohen, LLP, Martin, Clearwater & Bell, as well as Piper Rudnick, LLP.

Edie has a breadth of experience in the nursing field, having worked in internationally-recognized hospitals such as the Cabrini Medical Center and Columbia Presbyterian. She holds an M.S.N. in Critical Care Nursing and an M.P.H. in Public Health, both from Columbia University.
