Covers you (the Certified Nurse-Midwife or Certified Midwife) pre-natal, post-natal and gynecological services in a hospital or clinical setting and for labor and delivery services at a hospital.
Professional liability insurance helps protect you against allegations of malpractice. While your employer may offer coverage, it often isn’t sufficient for every situation and typically prioritizes the employer’s needs and interests. Additionally, your employer’s policy likely does not include License Protection, which means you may not be covered if your professional license is challenged or investigated.
